The Healthcare Talent Pipeline Program (HTPP) funded by Westchester County has helped more than 200 participants complete Clinical Medical Assistant and Medical Administrative Assistant/Billing Coding Specialist certificate programs and find new and rewarding jobs at hospitals, medical groups, health centers, assisted living homes and other healthcare employers. The program offers no cost healthcare training and job search assistance, as well as a stipend and other supports. Computer training is also available to those who need it. provide proof of residency, meet income criteria and have been impacted by COVID-19. All SWBOCES Center for Adult & Community Services programs are eligible for 100% funding.

We are pleased to be open for in-person instruction. As a public school entity, SWBOCES is required to adhere to all current guidance issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and the New York State Department of Health.

We offer tuition free High School Equivalency instruction and English Language Instruction and preparation for the US Citizenship Exam in our Adult Literacy Programs.
The Center for Adult and Community Services provides an array of tuition-based Workforce Development Training programs that include Healthcare, Technology and Trades. All job training programs require a minimum of six students enrolled to run.
We want all our students to achieve success. It is recommended for successful completion that students enrolling in job training programs have a minimum grade level of 8 in math and reading (equivalent to Grade 8 in school). Funding sources are available through our workforce partners at https://adulted.swboces.org/community_partners. Some programs require a high school diploma to complete certification exams.

Southern Westchester BOCES student and newly minted U.S. citizen Renata Rodriguez has been named Student of the Year by the New York Association for Continuing and Community Education and will be honored at a ceremony during its annual conference in Albany on May 1.
"Thanks to SWBOCES and the Community Resource Center, I found my American Dream," Ms. Rodriguez said.
The Southern Westchester BOCES Center for Adult & Community Services hosted its annual Spring Connections Open House on April 3. Nearly 200 students and alumni met with employers and labor organizations in a variety of fields from across the region.
