High School Equivalency Prep/TASC
Pass the TASC Exam (Test Assessing Secondary Completion) and earn your High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma!
Teachers will prepare you in reading, writing, math, science, social studies and science. Students will get skills to pass the TASC exam, enroll in college, and be successful in life. Students must take a TABE assessment test at registration. Eighth grade level in reading, writing and math is required to join classes.
There is a one-time registration fee of $26, payable by Money Order.

Citizenship Exam Prep
Take advantage of this preparation class and practice the interview for the naturalization process. The teachers will review the information needed to pass the exam along with the basic test-taking skills. Students will learn about the History of the United States. The class will practice the last version of the citizenship exam and the 100 citizenship questions. (Haga clic aquí para obtener información en español.)
The registration fee is only $26, payable by Money Order, which includes 75 hours of class and materials. Classes at the libraries are free. Students must be 18 years of age or older.

English for Speakers of Other Languages
We have more than 80 classes in the area and we offer different schedules for your convenience, including day time, evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. We are located at 20 different sites close to you. Our classes are affordable, there is a one time registration fee of $26 for 75 hours of instruction. There are different levels that will help you prepare according to your knowledge and skills. WHAT ARE THE LEVELS?
In the BASIC level, you will learn how to read, write and speak in English. Class activities will prepare you to communicate better. In the INTERMEDIATE level, you will re-enforce vocabulary, reading, and writing, and there is more emphasis in conversation. In the ADVANCED level there is more conversational activities and the levels of reading and writing are higher.

Just choose a location and schedule that is best for you - see locations and schedules listed below. Students must be 18 years old or older. A one-time registration fee of $26 is required, payable by Money Order only.

Transportation Aid Available through Westchester County!
Transportation aid is available to Westchester County residents earning under 200% of the poverty level.
